Wander the island, enjoy the lush, tropical vegetation and flowers, the birdlife, the waterfall (just past the Eden’s holiday resort), the colonial heritage and all the surprising bays or visit some of the other islands and see what they have to offer.

Fishing

Please note that in order to protect the wonderful sea life for future generations, fishing is strictly controlled and spear fishing is not permitted.  There are, however, many diving and fishing outfits to cater for different tastes.  For one suggestion, visit Seyfly (Seychelles Fly fishing).

Scuba Diving

This is a dreamland fantasy come true.  The crystal clear waters and the colourful marine life, both fish and crustacean, beggar description.  For one diving school try Big Blue Divers.

Snorkelling

What more pleasant way of spending time at the beach than paddling around with your flippers and snorkel seeing what you can find under the surface?  (Helpful hint: if you are going to spend a lot of time snorkelling, you might want to wear a T-shirt as well as sun block, even on an overcast day, to protect your back.)
